Neshaminy Redskins ended it season with there annul banquet held on Tuesday April 7th at the Irish Rover Station House with over 100 people in attendance. After a nice dinner the coaches present awards to the wrestlers.

BRUCE GRAEBER PLACES 5TH AT THE
PIAA STATE WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP


Bruce started his quest for a medal on Thursday and in his first match of the tournament he wrestled a good match before being pinned by Ryan Monk (Dallas) in 4:34. That dropped him in the consolation bracket where he won his second match by beating Josh Frye (Bald Eagle Area) 5-1. His next opponent was Louis Mauro (Connellsville) and Bruced pinned him in 4:59 that match insured that Bruce would medal and now the question is in what place.  He then wrestled Ben Bish (Meadville) and pinned him in 1:43. Next up was Ryan Monk who he wrestled to start the event and this time he got pinned in 0:25 and that meant that Bruce was going for 5th/6th. In his final match he faced Tom Killoran (Boyertown) who defeated Bruce last week at Regionals by this time the tables were turned with Bruce winning a 8-0 Major Decision to take 5th place.



Day 2 was not a great day for the Skins we lost 3 out of our 4 wrestlers but we did have 1 finalist Bruce Graeber (285) punched his ticket to Hershey after winning in the semi-finals but lost in the last few seconds in the finals to finish as the regional runner-up. Bruce will be heading to Hershey on Wednesday! Dom Stabilito finished up the day with a 6th place finish to just miss the trip. Justin Kramer and Noah Kisselback lost there first match on Saturday to finish there season. The Skins finished in 16th place as a team. Hope to see a lot of the Skins supporters in Hershey supporting Bruce.


Day 1 action at Regionals Justin Kramer (132) and Noah Kisselback (182) lost there first match and will wrestle back this morning with hopes of finishing in the top 5. Dom Stabilito (152) won his first two matches of the night with a win over Zack Swank (Avon Grove) and won a major decision of Dan Iredale (Consetoga) who was undefeated this season before this match, Bruce Graeber (285) won his match with a fall in 0:39 over Christos Moscharis (West Chester Rustin).  
Action continues on Saturday with the first round consolations at 9:30 followed by the semi-finals and second round consolation. The placement round is scheduled for 5:30 PM with the 1 through 6 place matches and the top 5 wrestlers will move on to States.


The Skins finished in 6th place at the District East Tournament winning his second District title was Bruce Graeber (285). Place second was Dom Stabilito (152). Third place finishers were Justin Kramer (132) and Noah Kisselback (182). The wrestlers will be back in action on Friday 2/27 and Saturday 2/28 wrestling starts on Friday at 5:30 PM and continues on Saturday at 9:30 AM.
 

The Skins finished in a tie for second place yesterday at the SOL National League Championship held at Neshaminy. Leading the way for the Skins was Justin Kramer (132), Noah Kisselback (182) and Bruce Graeber (285) all took 1st place.  Dom Stabilito finished in 2nd, Mike Megahan (106), Raheem Rahamatulla (145), Jon Albarran (160) and Ben Stern (170) all took 3rd. Kyle Osterhoudt (220) was 4th. The Skins will be back in Action next Saturday at the District One East Championship being held at Interboro. Wrestling will start at 9 AM. Hope to see the Neshaminy fan there to support us.



On Saturday the Skins were in the Cougar Beat the Street Dulas held at Martin Luther King High School and were 4-1 on the day beating Wilson 46-27, Twin Valley 51-27, J.P McCaskey 51-22 and in the Third place match beating Pennwood 54-16 to take third place. The Skins only lost of the day came to the Tournament Champion Malver Prep losing 45-20. Dominic Stabilito picked up his 100 win of his carreer. The Skins were lead by Bruce Graeber (285) who was 5-0 on the day (2 falls and 3 forfeits) and Ben Stern (170) (2 Falls and a Major Decision) Going 4-1 on the day were Raheem Rahamatulla (145), Dom Stabilito (152) with 4 Falls and Noah Kisselback (195).


 


On Wednesday the Skins beat Bensalem 45-20 to close the league and finish the season with a 4-3 record and a 4th place finish.


The Redskin Junior Varsity wrestlers participated in the LaSalle College High School Super Bowl Sunday Junior Varsity Tournament.  The Redskins had six wrestlers place and were led by Colin Perry (152) who had 3 pins and Kyle Osterhoudt (220) who both were Champions.
The other skins that placed were Anthony Gianquinto (126) 2nd, Brock Leinbach (126) 4th, Joey Ireland (145) 2nd, Giovanni Figueroa (285) 2nd.

Last week the Skins had an up and down week the on there match against Truman on Wednsday 51-29 which was also Senior , Middle School and Youth Night and on Thursday the Skins dropped a close mattch with Lower Moreland losing 36-34.


The Redskins weekend did not start that good when they dropped a 39 to 27 match at Pennsbury. Then on Saturday they rebounded to go 5-0 at the Redskin Duals.  Going 5-0 on the day were 152 - Dom Stabilito (5 Pins), 170 - Ben Stern (4 Pins), 182 - Noah Kisselback (2 Pins) and 285 - Bruce Graeber (5 Pins).

Saturday Jan 10 the Skins hosted the Middle School Duals and Richboro won the Championship with a 60-34 score over Neshaminy.

There were 8 teams in the duals and the results are attched below.

The Redskins finished in 4th place on Saturday Dec 30 at the Governor Mifflin Holiday Tournament. Leading the way for the Skins was Dom Stabilito (152) and Bruce Graeber (285) both placed 2nd. Noah Kisselback (182) was 3rd, Ben Stern (170) was 5th, Austin Saba (113) was 6th and Vincent Stabilito (160) took 7th.    

The Junior Varsity wrestled at Governor Mifflin on Saturday and Jon Albarran (160) and Kyle Osterhoudt (220) both won Championships.

Brock Leinback (126), Tyler Stay (145) and Colin Perry (152) all took 4th place.

 


The Junior Varsity wrestler on Saturday December 20 at Pennsbury Falcons Holiday Tournament leading the Redskins were Jon Albarran who took 1st, Colin Perry and Zach Turner were 2nd, Kyle Osterhoudt took 3rd, Anthony Giaquinto, Ozzie Afandor and Mike Bremser were 4th.


The Skins defeated Abington 48-26 on Wednesday December 17 to even there record in the league at 1-1. The match started at 182 with Ben Stern recording a fall at 1:17. The Skins recieved falls from the following wrestlers Bruce Graeber (285) 1:24. The Skins were losing after the 126 pound match 23-18 but rolled off 5 straight falls at rap up the match. Justin Kramer (138) 1:26, Raheem Rahamatulla (145) 1:53, Dom Stabilito (152) 1:42, Vincent Stabilito (160) 1:20 and Jon Albarran (170) 4:33.

Next League Match will be on Wednesday Jan 7 at Home against William Tennent.



The Redskins placed 2nd at the Travis Manion Individual Tournament scoring 150 points. The winner was Kennard Dale with 170 points.  Justin Kramer (138), Dom Stabilito (152), Ben Stern (170) and Bruce Graeber (285) all took first place. Mike Megahan (106), Matt Jacoby (132), Raheem Rahamatulla (145) and Vincent Stabilito (160) all placed 2nd.  Jared Adames (113), Asaph Alexander (120), Ozzie Afandor (182) and Mike Bremser (220) placed 3rd.

Dom Stabilito was named Outstanding wrestler by going 5-0 with 5 first period Pins.

The Skins lost there opening Home match of the year to Council Rock South on Wednesday 51-16. Picking up wins for the skins were Mike Meghan (106), Dom Stabilito (152), Ben Stern (170) and Bruce Graeber (285).

The Redskins opened the season yesterday at the Freedom Duals. They went 2 and 3 on the Day win there first two match and then dropping three in a row. They opened the day beating Berwick 39-23 and Pittston 45-24 before lossing to Stroudsburg 46-26 and Quakertown 54-21 before wrapping up the day losing to Upper Perk 51-15.  Bruce Graber (285) lead the Skins winning 5 matches with 3 falls. Mike Mcgahan (106), Dom Stabilito (152) and Vince Stabilito (160) were all 4-1. Matt Jacoby, Justin Kramer and Ben Stern had 3 wins on the day.  



The wrestling room work has been completed and we have upgrade the room with new mats and wall padding if you are in the school stop by and take a look.
